TOONTRACK PRODUCT MANAGER INSTALLATION GUIDE
Step 1: Start by downloading the Toontrack Product Manager at www.toontrack.com/product-manager. It will be in your computer's default download directory.
Step 2: Double click the installer to launch it. Follow the onscreen instructions.
Step 3: Once finished the application will be available to use.
- On PC a shortcut will be placed on your desktop
- On Mac the Product Manager will be located in your 'Applications/Toontrack' folder.
Step 4: Launch the Product Manager application and input your Toontrack account email and password. All of your registered products will appear and ready to be downloaded, updated, or authorized.
Step 1: To download Superior Drummer 3, locate the 'Register New Product' button in the top left of the Product Manager. You will then be asked to input the serial number that you will have been given when purchasing SD3.
Step 2: You will be presented with a total of 6 boxes. These are the following parts of the full Superior Drummer 3 Library:
- Superior Drummer 3
- Superior Drummer 3 Library PART 1 - BASIC SOUND LIBRARY
- Superior Drummer 3 Library PART 2 - ROOM MICS
- Superior Drummer 3 Library PART 3 - SURROUND SETUP
- Superior Drummer 3 Library PART 4 - HEIGHT SURROUND
- Superior Drummer 3 Library - ADDITIONAL BLEED
The Superior Drummer 3 box will enable you to download the VST and standalone versions of the software. The rest are the constituent parts of the sound library. The Superior Drummer 3 download doesn't include samples HOWEVER you must also download PART 1 - BASIC SOUND LIBRARY to utilise the software.
Step 3: Once the download has finished, simply click the 'Install' button. Follow the onscreen instructions and let the program complete the installation.
Note: When installing the Superior Drummer 3 Library Parts you must install these in the correct order (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, Additional Bleed). This is important as the latter parts rely on both the software installation, and PART 1 - BASIC SOUND LIBRARY to work.
Step 4: When you have closed the installer, the Product Manager will recognize that the product is installed and a red ‘Authorize’ button will appear. Simply click this button to authorize.
Step 5: Once authorized, the Product Manager will check to see if there are any available updates that need to be installed. If so, a red 'DOWNLOAD' button will appear for the updates.
Step 6: Once the updates are finished downloading, start the installers and let them finish. The Product Manager will display check marks for each of the completed steps until finally showing a green check mark that reads “Ready to use”, indicating that your product is ready.
